Today, Guangzhou Plastic Mold Factory will tell you about the mold heating equipment
Introduction to the introduction of mold heating equipment and mold plugging
The mold temperature is required to be lower than 80 °; most plastics (except high-temperature materials) are required to have a molding temperature of 20 ° ~ 90 °. If the surface finish of the part is high or the mold structure causes molding difficulties, you must use a water machine to heat it.
2. Oil temperature heating:
The mold temperature requirement is 90 ~ 150 °. PP, PC, nylon (PA66, PA6, PA46), POM, etc. require that the temperature of glass fiber GF can reach 120 °. Oil temperature can be used to control the oil temperature; PET, PPS molding temperature 130 ~ 150 ° must use oil temperature to control the temperature.
3Heating rods and thermocouples: PET, PPS have high crystallization temperature (130 ~ 150 °). In order to ensure the rapid control of the mold temperature and flexible temperature control, heating rods and thermocouples must be used.
4. Insulation board:
In order to prevent the mold from overheating and distribution, ensure that the cavity temperature is constant to ensure the quality of the molded product is stable. Crystalline resins such as nylon, PBT, PET, etc., the surface temperature change of the cavity has a great impact on the degree of crystallinity, size and appearance quality, and it is necessary to install an insulation board
Precautions: 1. Use a dust collector to remove dust on the insulation board (including glass fiber, which will irritate the skin and cause itching; adhesion to the machine will affect accuracy);
2. Cracks are prone to occur during processing, so be careful (custom processing);
3. Not suitable for thread processing, three-dimensional processing.
5. Comprehensive application of heating equipment
Introduction of mold water blocking method
1. NPT teeth
The difference between NPT teeth, PT teeth, and pipe threads. NPT teeth are standard taper pipe threads commonly used in the United States.
N is the national (US) national standard, P is the PIPE pipe, T is the taper, and the section angle is 60 °.
This pipe thread is commonly used in North America, or ANSI specifications are often used. National standards see GB / T12716-1991
2, PT teeth
PT teeth are English tapered threads with a tooth angle of 55 °. They are the most commonly used seals. Mostly used in European and Commonwealth countries. In fact, the JIS standards in Japan and Taiwan are also the norms for the United Kingdom, and the use of British threads in China. Wyeth Thread Family. National standards can be found in GB / T7306-2000.
